Bourne Legacy Expected To Boost Philippines Tourism

Philippines tourism is pinning hope on the latest edition of popular Hollywood movie franchise, Bourne Legacy. Philippines believe that famous Jason Bourne movie will increase interest of foreign tourists in the country.

The Bourne Legacy is the fourth edition of popular spy movie franchise starring Matt Demon. Some parts of movie are expected to be filmed in Philippines. Some identified locations include downtown Manila, Makati Central Business District, the Walled City ‘Intramuros and Northern Metro Manila's Navotas.

City officials are very excited that Bourne Legacy would be shot in Manila. They are cleaning up all the shooting places to make city look beautiful in the movie. Bourne Legacy would be first film in the series that does not feature Matt Demon. The movie stars Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton.

Presidential Palace is very hopeful with the movie. The spokesperson for the palace said that we expect movie to create jobs and increase tourism in the country. It is believed that palace is seeing the movie as one of the ways to couter negativity surrounding the country like Manila Bus Hostage crisis and numerous travel advisories issued by the United States and other western countries.
